Crowdcast loves our Patreon creators! We’re working hard behind the scenes to build a direct Patreon integration for v2 like we offer with v1. Until that’s ready, here are a few ways you can host exclusive, patron-only events while still enjoying all the upgraded features and benefits of v2.

1. Register your patrons for your event

You can import patrons directly into your event with their email addresses or with a CSV file. Those patrons will be registered for your event and will receive a confirmation email upon registration. When you do this, your patrons will bypass any payment or password gatekeepers that you’ve set up. Other attendees who go through the standard registration process through the event URL will still encounter these gatekeepers.

Here’s how to register your patrons for your event:

Using the Options menu in the upper right-hand corner, select Register Emails.

You can download a CSV file from Patreon and then upload it to your Crowdcast event. If you do this, consider including columns titled “firstname” and “lastname” in the CSV. This will ensure your patrons’ confirmation emails and Crowdcast profiles include their names.

With either option, be sure to check the box indicating that your patrons have agreed to register for your event.

2. Create a ticketed event with a promo code for your patrons
