If you're hosting an event, we recommend that you use your desktop computer or laptop whenever possible. A computer is more powerful and will provide a better experience for everyone.

Currently, in Crowdcast v2 it is not possible to go live from your mobile devices. However, when this is possible, keep in mind that it's more difficult to monitor the chat and Q&A when hosting from your phone or tablet. Those with iOS devices are encouraged to download the Crowdcast app.

If you're using a browser – whether on a computer or mobile device – we recommend Google Chrome. If you're unable to use Chrome, consider another Chromium-based browser like Brave, Opera, or Edge.

Other browsers, such as Internet Explorer and Safari, may work with Crowdcast but are far more prone to issues.

No matter which browser and device you choose, we always recommend running a thorough tech check before hosting any events.

If you're simply attending an event on Crowdcast, you can join from any mobile device or computer. Android users are able to join events directly from a browser – no download required! Those with an iOS device like iPad or iPhone can attend events from a browser or the Crowdcast app.
