Are you only attending events on Crowdcast?

It's free to sign up for a Crowdcast account if you're an attendee – no plan and no trial needed! Some events on Crowdcast are ticketed and require payment for access, but your account is free. Learn more in the Attendee Quick Reference Guide.

Want to host events of your own? Read on!

We also invite you to join us live in one of our weekly demo and Q&A sessions. This is a great opportunity to chat with us live about your specific event needs.

Q: I want to host events on Crowdcast. How do I know which plan I need?

Plans are priced and structured based on:

  1. The number of hours you will be streaming per month
  2. The number of live attendees joining each session
  3. Features and data access

Here's more about Crowdcast plans and pricing.

Q: What is a live attendee?

A live attendee is someone who joins a session during the live broadcast. An unlimited number of people can register for your Crowdcast event, but you'll only be charged for those who show up live.

Q: What if more people show up live than my plan accounts for?

If more live attendees show up than your plan includes, you'll be charged 15¢ per additional live attendee per session.

For example, the Pro Plan includes up to 250 live attendees per session. Let's say you're on this plan, and 255 people show up live to one of your sessions. At 15¢ per additional live attendee, you'll be charged an overage of 75¢ for those five additional people.

💡 Pro Tip: If you want to avoid overage charges, you can limit the number of people who can register for your event within the Advanced tab of your event settings.

Q: Can I sign up for a Crowdcast plan for just one month?

If you're just looking to host a one-off event and only need Crowdcast for a month, sign up for a monthly plan and cancel before the next billing cycle.

If you need to use Crowdcast only occasionally, we suggest signing up for the monthly plan and downgrading to the Pause Plan until your next event. The Pause Plan gives you access to all of your events and data for $10/month. You can create and edit events and accept registrations on this plan, but you won't be able to go live.

Q: How do billing cycles work?

Monthly subscriptions are charged on the same numerical date each month.
