A guide on how to connect Ecamm Live to Crowdcast via RTMP Studio

RTMP Studio enables you to use professional live streaming software with Crowdcast. In this article, we will show you how to connect Ecamm Live to your Crowdcast event.

Open up Ecamm Live and set up your camera and scenes. Then follow the steps below to go live.

  1. Start the studio engine.

  1. In the bottom right corner of Ecamm Live, change the Destination to Custom Stream Key and then click on Add new stream key.

  1. Copy and paste the Server URL and Stream key from Crowdcast to Ecamm Live.

  1. When you're ready to go live simply click on Go Live within Ecamm Live.

By default, RTMP Studio will deliver the video quality at the quality received from your encoder app or gear. We recommend streaming your video at 1080p at 2000 - 3000 kbps for the best experience.
