Your complete guide to connecting Crowdcast with over 1000 applications
There are two ways to connect Crowdcast to your application. The first is through direct integrations. Currently, you can directly integrate Crowdcast with the following applications in the integration settings page:
- Drip – An e-commerce-friendly email marketing platform
- ConvertKit – A creator-friendly email marketing platform
- Stripe – For hosting paid events
- Patreon – For hosting members-only (aka Patron-only) crowdcasts
In addition to the direct integrations, we've built a deep integration with Zapier to connect to over 1000 additional applications.
What is Zapier?

Zapier is like glue for all of the applications on the internet. It allows you to connect the different apps you use without having to write a single line of code.
How can you use Crowdcast with Zapier?
You can see the compatible triggers and actions here. Choose your preferred app, and see what's possible with Zapier. The integrations don't include features like pulling information from custom registration fields or overlaying a widget; But you can easily setup one-click registrations on your website or separate those who joined live and those who missed out into different marketing campaigns. Check it out!
You can do two main things through Zapier:
- Register a user for a Crowdcast → This is called an Action.
- Send a Crowdcast attendee's info to another app → This is called a Trigger.
- If you want Zaps to trigger for specific events, you will need to setup a filter.
Note that if you filter by event, you'll need your event code which is located in the suffix of your event URL. For example, the event code for the URL https://www.crowdcast.io/e/cc-demo-0329 is cc-demo-0329.
Through actions and triggers, you can connect Crowdcast to over 1000 different apps. Each connection is called a Zap.
Here are some examples of the kinds of Zaps that are possible:
- When someone signs up for your Mailchimp newsletter, they are automatically registered for your Crowdcast event.
- Get alerts in Slack when someone registers for your event.
- Automatically tag attendees who join your Crowdcast in ConvertKit.
- When someone submits info on your TypeForm, register them to your Crowdcast
